Achievements:
This young lady attended her first shows at 9 mths old, and in just 3 mths achieved the necessary 8 C.C.'s for her N.Z. Champion title. She also had a Puppy of Group, (All-Breeds Ch Show), and at the Dominion Collie Club Specialist show at 11 mths she was awarded Res Bitch, Res Best of Breed (to her dam!), and Puppy In Show.
After a break Secret came back out to get BEST IN SHOW and Junior In Show 18/10/14 at the Dominion Collie Club Ch. Show under breed specialist Anne Phipps (N.Z.) This was Secret's first show back in the ring since she gained her N.Z. title in Feb!
Then after another break while her younger kennel mates were campaigned Secret returned to the ring after 16 months to be awarded Best of Breed, Reserve Best of Group and New Zealand Bred of Group under a Collie specialist.
At the Waikato & Districts Championship Show on 23/4/16 Secret was awarded the Bitch CC, Best of Breed, Reserve Best In Show (B.I.S. 2) and N.Z. Bred In Show under the renowned Collie Specialist Tomas Rholin (Denmark). We are very proud!
She is a lovely free moving bitch with a delightful temperament.
In August 2016 Secret whelped a lovely litter to "Odin", N.Z. Ch Clairescotts Valhalla (Imp Aust). Her son Ch Braemist Heartstopper "Callum" and daughter Ch Braemist Valkyrie "Aria" are both now Champions.
Sadly this was to be her only litter as she developed pyometra after this litter and had to be spayed.
Her granddaughter Amari continues to do her proud.
Secret is the matriach here now at Braemist and is thoroughly enjoying her retirement.
